Presentation Designer

Role Overview

Roughcut Labs is seeking a Presentation Designer to transform complex ideas into compelling visual narratives across various formats, including investor, sales, brand, and keynote decks. This is a hands-on execution role for a designer with strong taste and craft, focused on delivering high-volume, high-stakes work for clients in a fast-paced agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end presentations across investor, sales, brand, and keynote formats, from wireframe to polished final
• Translate messy inputs (Word docs, voice notes, half-formed ideas) into clear visual narratives
• Build and extend slide systems, templates, and component libraries for consistency across long decks
• Transform data into accurate and aesthetically pleasing charts, diagrams, and infographics
• Work within and elevate client brand guidelines, and assist in building new guidelines when necessary
• Manage multiple presentation projects concurrently against tight deadlines while maintaining quality
• Incorporate feedback effectively and iterate quickly from senior designers, clients, and presenters

Requirements & Qualifications

2–5 years designing presentations, ideally in an agency, studio, or fast-moving in-house team. A portfolio of decks (not just individual slides) demonstrating range across use cases and command of layout, hierarchy, and type.
