Role Overview

Own post-production across a creative agency and a consulting group, handling diverse content from cinematic brand films to founder interviews and campaign cutdowns, maintaining high standards for clients like Coca-Cola, DLF, and Tanishq, while also building the Group’s internal content engine.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit brand films, campaign videos, product films, event recaps, and fashion content from rushes to final master for RoughCut Labs clients.
• Cut long-form Group content (founder interviews, thought leadership, webinars) and derive short-form cutdowns for various platforms.
• Handle the full post-production chain: ingest, sync, assembly, rough cut, fine cut, colour grade, sound design, mix, titling, and delivery.
• Design and animate motion graphics, lower thirds, kinetic typography, infographic sequences, and title packages from scratch.
• Master and deliver content to platform specifications, including aspect ratios, codecs, bitrates, caption files, and thumbnail frames.
• Make critical editorial judgements regarding pace, rhythm, cut placement, and content removal.
• Work from briefs and storyboards, proactively flagging when footage will not support the intended story.
• Maintain a consistent visual language across each brand while allowing client work to retain its unique identity.
• Support on set with DIT duties, data wrangling, backup discipline, and shot review against the edit plan.
• Own the media pipeline, including asset management, project structure, naming conventions, archive, and backup policy.
• Manage multiple edits against client and campaign deadlines, ensuring version control during revision rounds.
• Brief and review work from freelance editors and motion designers during peak periods.

Requirements & Qualifications

5–10 years as a professional video editor, with a showreel demonstrating both brand/commercial work and interview/corporate content.
